A Call Delivered in Tongues

After growing up as an MK in Congo, attending university as a stranger in America, and courting his wife, Grandpa Paul Brown found himself in Kenya at a boy’s boarding school. There he served as a missionary headmaster and had very little money.
When an unknown doner deposited $1,500 into his Africa Inland Mission support account, Grandpa Paul suddenly had the option to use his International Scout on Christmas vacation. Since missionaries had returned to Rethy following the Simba Rebellion and Rethy Academy boarding school was up and running, Grandpa Paul drove to visit where he grew up and to see who else might be there.
In this story, Abrahamu the school janitor at Rethy, makes it very clear to Grandpa Paul where he desired him to serve.
