Abrahamu My Janitor

Perhaps we can recall, in our lives, people who humbly serve others in a way that truly honors God. When Jesus’ disciples wanted to be the greatest and receive honor for themselves, he explained to them “whoever would be first among you, must be your servant” because the Son of Man came not to be served, but to serve and give his life. 

Abrahamu Longa, the janitor at Rethy Academy, was hired by Mr. Miller around the time Grandpa Paul entered first grade. His faithful service to Jesus was evident to all who attended Rethy Academy. Each day he called the kids to school and adopted them as his own.
