Five Shotgun Shells

In this story, Grandpa Paul recalls hunting Guinea fowl in the peanut gardens with a Zande hunter. The Zande hunter, Burgeehe, was unsettled by some of the spiritual practices he saw. Grandpa Paul’s hunt reminds us of the importance of being witnesses for Jesus.

As Paul the Apostle writes, “How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard?  And how are they to hear without someone preaching? And how are they to preach unless they are sent?”
